Bogged up front guard, dented door and rear quarter, pushed in front. Has monsoons including rear though.

Edit. Probably not. Found a pic of it from 2009. The amount of rust inside lead me to believe it was older than it is.

Think he's keen on a mk4 supra next.  His skyline lust starts at the r32 so haven't fine tuned that into him yet but he's on a good track.

I think the decals really finish off the r34, was kinda plain before they started going on. He's just got the doors to go now then chuck the wheels on.

Mr 10 has gotten brave enough to try putting decals on. He only ripped 1 of the early ones but it worked out fine.

I got quite a few bits from there for my 87 cbr250. Reasonable priced too.

Curbed wheel cleaned up and painted.

Unless you know a painter then powder coating will be a lot cheaper. The finish with powder coating just won't be as shiny as painted.

When we get wheels painted for work a local auto painter charges $135+gst per wheel.

IMHO I'd go for painted, just looks better. I'll find some painted pics soon.

Agree Altezza's are cheap as chips right now and are good bang for buck. Can only go up in price when they can be picked up for 2-5k now.

We paid 15k for ours over 10 years ago. It was a fresh low k import so hasn't been assholed and is still tidy inside and out. It no longer gets much use since I got a work van but figured we'll chuck it in the garage and wait and see. It can't loose anymore value.

Oh yeah. My sub 90000km s13 owes me 5k counting the purchase of a turbo engine, gearbox and loom package. Food for thought.

Buy what makes you smile, hold on to it and see what happens.

Think I paid close to $10 a pop for the last paints I bought a few years back so stoked with The Hobby Clearance Company prices.

Looks simple but I can't figure out how you clamp material in it. Is there something missing?

I want to build a small set of rollers to roll 3mm flat bar, only need to be 300mm long but haven't been able to settle on a simple and effective design yet.

My 10yo boy recently bought his first kitset.

Fairly ambitious for a first timer but he loves cool cars so I'm not going to stop him.

I've only been giving guidance, he's trimmed, smoothed, painted and glued all the suspension together so far and is doing well.
