cut up my rack off my v100 and modded it to fit my vespa for extra carry capacity last night. rather happy with the so far end result. going to be good to have this carry space

Just looking at the footage we where able to get two up is amazing. @MopedNZs video wouldn't be the same with out the vity. One thing I wont forget to do when buying a vity. Is to cut its stand off. Those things are dangerous and will make you almost hiside in seconds.

yeah have checked out SIP @MopedNZ i also dont have the time to search and honestly cant be assed trying to track down the parts. time is better off making money and then spending it haha. poo man told me about them as soon as i brought it. will look into getting an exhaust once life and business sorts itself out. The bike mechanics next door did an oil change on my gearbox reckoned it was like 4 times the correct amount it in and that's what was getting over my tyre. But I've cleaned the fuck out of it and the oil level should not be effecting it. So I've come to believe its fuel. And it fucken stinks of gas as well. Now I don't know if its cause I don't turn my fuel off when it's not running but I'm going to try that and go from there. Thanks to having a label maker at work I now know which is off and won't guess. I got a new tyre and tube from the neighbors as well as handy bla bla bla good work relationships (sorry grassman) but I also asked grassman to order me a new rear shock. But back to the tyre. Split the rim and removed the old tyre. Shit my rim is in a bad state. Wire wheeled the fuck out of it and put a rust converter and painted that shit on. All purple like Beth's eye of once were warriors. While apart I destroyed a can of break cleaner on the inside of the wheel arch and engine to clean it up. Come in this morning. Bugger leaking already. So gas tap off for now. Will go for a ride with @Raizer when he arrives today and then proceeded to check it out. But the fuel is destroying the tyre so need to find out what it is ASAP.

This is a lol. If you use your bag as a pillow like myself last year on the deck after drinking my most expensive bourbon ever and passing out. Make sure you don't sleep on your buckles on your bag. Very uncomfortable.

Ow. Can youz do a wheelie. Fuck yeah the vitty can do a hunits wheel stand for the kids on the horses. By far my best stop of east cape. So much character. Wanted to stay longer. Locals absalutly lovely. The got a photo of me and @GuyWithAviators for there face book page two up in the scooter. Also the 1st place I pretty much heard te reo spoken fluent and very little English. Was a special moment for me.

Got a solid 110 kms to my tank of gas yesterday. Will not be carrying a Jerry can for back up of gas this year. A powerade bottle will be enough. Testing went well for 200kms. Gravel roads and nice open road country side. Can not wait.

Done some more vespering. Done a solid 200kms. Headed to Brents place while waiting for a mate and done some skids on his lawn and assed about for a min. Mate arrived in fashion by falling off his bike on Brents drive way. We then made our way to raglan for a bourbon and some kai. We next headed to the warf grab a photo, cause why not. Scenic as fuck as nz does. Me mate got a phone call so we decided to head to another mates via some roads that Google maps didn't want to send us down. My green side panel decided the bolts holding it there didnt want to hang around. They gapped it and where ever seen again. It was at this stage I had realised it. Continued to my mates place and he had tools and a few things I could use and made that work. At this stage I hadn't ran out of fuel which is pretty Cool. Some what 100kms I'm picking. Checked my gas level to see about 5-10mm if I was lucky sloshing around the bottom of the tank. You can see the green ting of the two stroke petrol. Yeah not much. But I was prepared. Brought a powerade bottle of gas with me. 750mls of nicely pre mixed fuel ready to go. That got me down to the gasser. Mean thing fits 7 letters. Got 120kms to a tank. All and all pretty legit, kept up with cars and went hard for what is. 10/10 for this purchase.

Ah so the cover on the left hand side if off a newer bike. I kinda gathered that much but gave up looking for another one for now as I've been busy with everything else. I got a glove box for it a while back that fired a guys early super and others but didn't fit mine cause of the later guard. Ahh well. Lucky I have a cutting mechanism and a metal stick thing. Cut here. Mis a few photos of steps and boom done. I put some windlace on the side of it and grinded back the crappy paint and my crappy welding. Got a tonneau cover fitting and Rivited that so now I have a glove box. Perfect. Off for a ride tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how many kms I get to a tank.

Worse case @Archetype should just drive the doozi single seater... Vespa has been going well. Hope to get some open road riding on it this weekend and clock up some kms see how it's all going. Wheel stands are on point. And need to see how I'm going to do this luggage thing. @HighLUX ill be joining you on that ride for sure.

Have picked the fabric for this buss. Dark green hounds tooth and Black vinyl. Going to do green and black decals on the side of the bus to have some flow with the random ness of colour. Also less likely to stain in this colour on the seats And the bed......

Found a white. It's colour code is L87 pearl. Off white doesn't look that bad with a white roof and bumpers either. Now to find it.
