I watched the video and am. Now bidding on a fucked moped. Max pine for scroter shenanigans -
On Fahrenheit it moves up a fair bit more. You can change some components to make it sweep more on Celsius but I'm lazy so it'll stay as is probably. But yes they do full illumination at full current

One plan is to support everything. The bar tube needs supporting somehow
-
On the thermometer? It'll teach people not to poke shit lol. I'm not running it until I get something to put it in tbh
-
Thanks. I got a bit carried away ordering the tubes so I'll just have to make more stuff. I just realised I don't have a photo of the completed clock. I'll get one when I'm at work on Monday
-
I found a Swiss guy who makes smaller boards so I ordered one, it turned up last week. I'll have to find/make something cool to put it in. I've also found a pwm in-9 board and have ordered that. With a bit of learning code I should be able to make a tach bar graph

According to the Internet civic carpet fits a crx. It doesn't nicely. Ah well it should make it a bit less hot for drag day then I can figure out what to do with it
-
But wait there's more!
-
Yes, I only use genuine Honda mtf now. I've learned that lesson.
-
Gah third has decided it likes to crunch at higher rpm. Ah well drag day will be the test of how much life the synchro has left in it
-
Waapwaah. Failed on brakes. That's easy Pads rotors and hoses. They want a engineer to have a look at the d repair on the left front guard. It looks nicely done but its a pain in the balls at this time of year to find a engineer who is available to look at it
-
Dropped it off again and they said Itll be ready for the weekend. There is heaps more road noise and in surprisingly its hotter Inside now everything has been ripped out. Atleast now I can run cables through for lifhts/speakers etc
-
I can see why they didn't want to strip this shit. It took just under 3 hours to get it to its current state. I'm. Intending to find some more insulation and reuse the paneling. Might stick some plush carpet/fur to it later
-
Everyone loves a stripping session in the back of a van Started with the shelf then got the panels out Old mate loved his polystyrene! 4 sheets thick and all glued in Early start for me tomorrow to try take all of that to the tip before work and I'll drop it back to compliance tomorrow lunchtime. I'm quite liking the cream/whitewall combo on the spare so I might paint them during the break and get the tyres flipped
-
The drivers seat started rocking even more so I had to do something about it. Bent up some 3 or 4 mm plate and hot glued it into place. The other side had just started to crack so that got welded up too. On the drive home I thought it felt Down on power. Got home and the rear disc was glowing so that was probably the cause. @piazzanoob the gc will take a look at it for me so it should be ready for drag day.
-
Haha I think that's what they told the boss. I was thinking about offering them a bottle to do it
-
They were busy when I dropped it off so didn't look at it. Oh well I'll be busy as tomorrow. I wonder how they do campers then? Do they have to strip the whole thing? I was aware about door cards but didn't even think about the paneling! That much is easy to take out, the polystyrene not so much
-
The compliance people say they don't want to do the inspection due to having to strip all the timber off the inside. Is it a option to go somewhere else who won't have to strip it? Failing that I'm. Collecting it tomorrow and stripping it

I swapped the 17s with the buddy clubs off the shuttle. The extra sidewall and 5mm or less of tyre height means the headers now hit the road on bigger bumps

Just use the one out of my bike in the lockup -
X2 I'm. All for polishing turds but it's not worth going through that effort. Just ride it then get a bigger/cooler/better bike later
-
It made 110wkw on the low cam before jono started tuning vtec. He said he usually lowers the vtec point on stock cams but with these ones it's engaging higher than stock. This is from jono the tuner That was a nice result on this dyno. I'm happy with it. To compare apples with apples, here is a b18cr (stock and tuned) on the same dyno 105wkw stock - 115wkw tuned
-
Exactly. I decided not to adjust the cam gears as everything was going well. Hah now I have to beat this figure with the turbo sohc in the shuttle
-
Success! More power than a worn out 350 and nothing went bang. Vtec is set to 5500 if I recall correctly. 121.8 wkw @8158 and 160 tq @ 6228
