I think i've heard that MX73 coilovers will fit? BC make a kit for them. Only problem is, good luck getting them certified at the moment. It seems to be pretty luck of the draw at the moment with getting coilovers certed that have needed welding.

I chucked it up in for sale, open to offers and swaps etc but not too keen on selling the wheels. Hoping for around $6500 otherwise I'll just keep it. I don't really have a reason for selling it other than my mate just got a 1UZ Cressida and I've fallen in love.

Something suitably big, a crown or Cressida or something similar

Surely this has to turn up somewhere... a car like that will stand out HARD! unless they chuck it in a container and ship it overseas. Best of luck finding it!

i think ill go for white tyres, will be too hard finding blue tyres that match the frame. After doing this one, im already planning another build. Definitely not with a collectable frame though... So many parts to buy, its a dangerous hobby to get into.

Haha yeh i gathered that it would be, oh well! Guess i've learned for next time i find a old collectable bike sitting in a shed. It's my first time ever playing with a bike so it's been fun learning how they go together etc. I've kept the original decals, i was going to get them remade but if it's worth keeping them then i can just chuck them back on. As far as i know, everything on the bike is original. Our neighbour wouldn't be the kind of person to change anything on the bike. This is the bike as of tonight, i've put the Alpine 24s decal back on.

Does anyone know much about these bikes and their value? Im having a look around the net for information on them and they seem to be fairly collectable... I dont know much about bikes and their value etc.

Progress has been a bit slow, mainly due to playing with my car instead. Started putting it back together a bit more. Decided i quite like the look of the rusted parts so won't rechrome, just at the moment. Need to buy the following to finish it: -New 24" tyres -New 24" wheels -New pedals -New chain

Cheers man, the paints pretty rough, the clear coat is gone from the roof but atleast it photographs well.

Wheels are now on the car, i replaced the rear springs with some king springs my mate had sitting in the lock up as they're stiffer than the cut springs that were in it before. I've also cut a coil off the rear springs as the king springs were a bit higher than the previous springs so the rakes all gone now. I am also working on purchasing this engine off my mate that he no longer needs

Oh right, nah they're stuffed. Have all cracked and started flaking apart.

Haven't got tyres yet, im away for new years so will get onto this as soon im back. Yeah man, that'd be perfect.

Frames now painted. Ive also polished the forks and handle bars, the forks are mint but the handle bars will need to be rechromed. Also tidied up the hub gears as only 2/3 gears were working before, work mint now.

It's all apart now, parts will be going off for chrome in the next few days, Im trying to get everything done while I'm motivated
