Took the gearbox apart and as allways 2nd gear has gone through the cace hardening, on the lookout for a clutch, I need the clutch for when I make the engine plates

It must have a little regulator for the direct AC lighting? Or is it like a BSA Bantam and you miss a gear and burn out the headlight. Outer calliper piston seals can fuck off especially on a dirt bike

Got this motor today, it’s an industrial motor but has the mag out the back witch makes things way more easy, it was from a rotory hoe that had a stuffed gearbox and other problems so I didn’t feel so bad.

Shorted the end of the crank and put the cover on

I ordered another ignition, this one is a little big bigger and has a some charging coils. I really hope I can fit it between the frame and the engine, failing that I can cut the whole thing off the engine and extend it and the cover and weld it back on so the mag is in front of the frame.

T/S main bearing has a bit of play, it may be why the thing was parked up, I have to strip the whole thing anyway

Cut the starter snout off and melted it down into blobs then I have welded up the hole and the script with it using the oxyacetylene, you can use all the crap to your advantage, it works like a flux.

Well I think I got scammed on a cylinder head, payed a guy for a motorcycle head but no head yet. the one on this engine has the Finns going in the wrong direction for a motorcycle, but apart from that the JAP engine is an ok fit, I have over 50mm to make a new ignition system. A shit load of work is needed now

The mag and it’s spacer is a good 150mm long, if I made something that supported the drive sprocket and I could mount this to might be a go. Then I it would fit well.

This engine is also a contender for this project, it seems to be in very good condition and has never been apart. Problem is the mag is in the way of the frame, I am thinking of making up a plate with a trigger coil and running a CDI ignition or something

This flux recommends mixing with water and some detergent, should I mix the whole lot up?

Made this flathead holder for when I pick up my new motor, supports the engine by the exhaust flanges, as it will be put into the back of my Volvo with a fork lift and dragged across my driveway and into the shed.

Rear wheel bolts in witch saves a huge amount of work, those plungers are stuck, been soaking them in oil

Hub has been welded and I ground down the welds and re drilled the spoke hole.

It fits well, I would have to make some kind of ignition system as the mag won’t fit with the gearbox
