ThePog
I need to put something on the engine bay bulkhead of the Fiat, there was some shitty felt stuff with an aluminium top layer that basically disintegrated when I pulled it off so I could finish the wiring. I have a stack of Mongoose sound mat left over from another project; Do you reckon this will be ok in the engine bay bulkhead? They do say it is for heat as well but as it isnt a dedicated heat shield material. The exhaust is on the other side of the engine so wont be subject to heaps of temp. What you reckon? Early jap nuter
I’ve used it for that but kinda peels off where it gets real hot.best I’ve used aeroflow ali embossed stuff over the top and made less noise and stoped my wife’s shoes melting to the floor

I have enough to double layer it.
