Tender Raisin
Alright so I have purchased some new MX73 BC Racing Adjustable Suspension for A GX61. In the rear, the BC spring perch doesn't sit flush on the cars spring seat. Its interior diameter is smaller than the bump stop seat as it tappers out towards the top. Is this on purpose so that the spring perch can change angle to match the spring? or is it best to get a spacer cut so the the perch can sit flush to the cars body? The spacer will only require to be 6mm thick.
Seedy Al
I could be wrong because I have never had coil overs in the rear. However im certain that the adjustable section sits on the diff with the spring going up into the perch.
chees-
Na with 61s the trailing arm is cut to fit the spring so the perch sits above. I ran the spring perch with no spacer, mine wasnt as tight as yours though it seems.
4AGEMAD
i used the same setup on my mx73, keep the gap there just make sure you grease the spring seat first as it moves to follow the spring. If you dont grease it the spring binds up and makes bad noises
