doullama Posted August 6, 2017 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Hi all, any k engine guru's know if theres much difference between 3k/4k head gaskets? I've managed to cook my 4k (seized thermostat! ) and pulled it out, its an aftermarket 3k gasket which seems to be missing plenty of the water jacket holes, does this matter? first pic is the one i've just pulled out, second pic is some chinese one which has passages that match that of head/block. 3rd picture is where I assume this one has failed.
