Would the trans/diff from this car: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/suzuki/auction-975822886.htm fit my SS80 Alto? Please say yes.. The body is a bit rusty but it had the engine reconditioned before being parked up a couple of years ago. I think the registration is on hold. Still runs and drives. Threeonthetree Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Okay so the SS80 was loaned to a friend who wanted to buy it. He scrapped it behind the owner's (my Mate) back. The two are no longer friends. But he does the reconditioned motor and manual gearbox from the car sitting at his house and is happy to sell them if you are still interested. shavenYak Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 All I know is that the subframes in an ss80 differ between auto and manual. The gearbox end has bolts in a different position. That being said, the donor car has a completely different subframe/ mount setup. I have an auto ss80 subframe in my garage if you need one.
