dave123456789
Hey guys I need a little help modifying a set of extractors to clear starter motor. The pipes on the right hand side need to be moved a little to the left and the two end pipes need to be on a bit more of a slight angle. Anyone up for it? Ill obviously pay for your help. Will need to bring a welder and shit, I'm in pakuranga.
SOHC
If that rear collector was cut out and a new one welded in higher up pointing down more would that help? Other option would to get one of those road runner starter motors.
dave123456789
Here's another picture, it's hitting on the underside of the last two pretty much directly above the collector.

dave123456789
I have emailed Coby about this and will see what they say. These are the set to suit this motor, jig they used must be a bit off. I am also searching for a smaller starter to make things easier

SOHC
I reckon try an exchange set from COBY before you do anything. if all else fails I have a couple sets of headers witch could be cut up and I could bring my gas set.

dave123456789
Coby is sending me a slightly different version of the manifold used in the Vauxhall Victor so will see if that makes any difference. Apparently moves the collectors further away which should clear engine and the first and last pipe don't come out so parallel so should fit. Hoping it turns up over the next couple of days and It fits. Excellent service from Coby, ill have both to test and I just send the least fitting back.
