DoBro Jesus
Just wondering where I would get a lumpy cam for my sigma, is it better to buy a new cam or just re-grind my one? And will it be sweet to run with my factory carb, also does it give any power increase, really only buying for lumpy idle but a little extra power does no harm cheeeeeers
Ogre
CSL cams in palmy have a good grind (my old one). 290 degree duration, cant remember lift but runs fine with standard valve springs etc. gave alot more topend power without lossing much in the lower area, also the fuel economy wasnt to bad. I first had it running with the standard carb, but you will have to play with the jets. I suggest just jamming a weber 32/36 on their as you can fit whatever jets you want and dont have to pull the whole carb apart to do it. Ngapuhi rollaz
How agresive was your idle cabonatlarge? And was it town driveable or only when foot was flat?
Ogre
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Pi-zsh-ayb0 thats the idle. It was perfectly drivable, would rev to about 8000rpm before valve bouncing. it did like being nailed tho, but you could still just cruise around more than happily.
