Yowzer
So my Hillman Avenger is running CD150 twin carbs. One of which has decided to piss fuel out of the funny little air valve piston lifting pin thing. How do I stop this happening?
Borgweiser
Rebuild it? Most likely it's running rich and the float has become a sink.. Check diaphragm also for splits and needle valve for dirt or wear marks. Only adjust the needle with the correct tool which holds the piston in place or risk diaphragm splits Easy to make one out of a piece of steel fuel pipe and a allen key. Just google the original tool for specs
Yowzer
I think I fixed it. Gave the float level a tweak and it stopped pissing out fuel. But then it ran out of fuel, so I tweaked the level up a bit. So it might now be all good. In any case the fuel isn't pissing out errrwhere
