SOHC Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Hello I have a 4 speed zephyr zodiac gearbox I need to shorten the input shaft as I am fitting it to an earlier ford motor, I have unbolted the front bearing retainer, my question is if now I slide the input shaft out will the syncro fall apart and drop down inside the box? SOHC Posted August 3, 2012 Author Share Posted August 3, 2012 I got it sorted, didn't need to shorten the shaft in the end, it was bang on the right size, what kind of info do you have?
