RUNAMUCK
The POR15 engine paint isn't anywhere near as epic as their nose hair burning bare metal treatment. Plain old two pack jam owns it. Almost worth getting some 2k made in the desired colour imo. Sucks how you can get every colour in an off the shelf can of engine paint except the colours I want. I dunno about the POR shit long term, but most engine paints get dull over time. Whereas two pack stays looking lusturois (sp) for years. Dads 383 still looks smick, but the engine hasn't seen it's 1st fire up yet.
Spencer
Yea allot of top restoration places just bang normal 2k on the engine, I am yet to find it but there must be a heat rated urethane 2 pac paint out there somewhere?. Problem with allot of push stick V8's is the exposed exhaust ports in the head, this will be the first place any paint fails
