J-W-G
Looking at a B1600 diff from a 76. From what ive heard the courier/B2000/B2600 lsd centres fit. What work is required to fit it? Shimming? Any aftermarket options? Cheers

J-W-G
Ive just heard that they have shit ratios? Ideally i want a 3.7/3.9 or close to
Jase
mazda mpv gets a 3.9 or 3.7 with non lsd, in a 76 housing the later head will fit but one axle (original axles) needs a bit of spline trimmed down for it to come together, dana lsd's fit the axles but i've yet to find a carrier that will take them without modification although they are very close ie same bearings etc etc just the offset is too far out without trimming the gears down from the older diffs
shizzl
fucking easy to change the ratio on the lsd heads though...i have some various ratio diffs for the stockcar, had a 3.8,3.9,4.1,4.4,4.7...all mazda/ford... most are 4.1...

J-W-G
Done some research and s3 rx7 and mx 5 torsen fit but are 7inch wheras b1600 is 8inch?
shizzl
im totally missing out words and shit tonight. series 3...from what ive found out is you use the s3 guts but still use the b16 crown wheel and pinion.. so still leaves you with a shitty ratio. J-W-G
Have found a B2600 diesel 4.1 LSD! Now from what ive read as my B1600 diff is 1974 model it needs an axle shortend and one lengthend for the LSD to work? Can anyone elaborate?
