rb drifter
got quoted $800 to make new rear gaurds/quarters as these ones are really rotten. so will be saving up for that. rest of rust and panelbeating i will get my mates old man to do and try a hand at it myself. also will be remaking exhaust to make it sit higher off the ground as it sits 30mm off road atm will be geting a full repaint once panels are all sorted, so should be a sweet car once paint and new motor is in it

rb drifter
todays progress, started sanding/bogging drivers door. still needs top coat of bogg and smoothing off removed the cut springs and replaced with standard sigma wagon rear springs, fitted perfectly!! also found that it was diff oil leaking onto the left rear brakes not brake fluid. so now time to investigate even more.

ruff kunt automotive
so this week ive been getting stuck into this crown. so be prepared for mass load of pics .. got the old girl into the shed on Monday morning i decided to see what the problem was with the rear brakes .... i removed to left rear wheel and remove the brake drum to find all diff oil through out the brakes well there poked then decide to pull the axel to see what i issue was ... well there wasnt much of the wheel bearing left by the time i got there steel through out the houseing :/ so i removed both axels and diff head to to give it a good clean out. man the lenghts people got through to make shit work this thing has 2 different axels one believed to be a hr 5x114 and another 5x120 hq that has been redrilled both are different splines and some one has changed the diff head to suit. hq axle hr axle after i cleaned all the crap out of the housing i niped into town grabed a wheel bearing also decovered that the rear window dosent fit..... the rear panel that has been made dose not accomadate for the chrome plus isnot the correct shape will have to be reshaped and timed back to that line.. oh wheel specs 14x8 5x114 falcons centres have been welded into roh wheel bands then chromed 175/65r14 supercats ill upload more when i get home from work chuur my beos!
ruff kunt automotive
next up is to get the rear springs to a legal form. so i put the sigma rear springs in to replace the cuts and achieve sky high muscle car stance. cuts vs sigma! sweet sky high ballin. after i done this i started removing engine parts this lead to me and a mate getting a little out of hand.. check out the wiring .... its a fucken nightmare! i might leave that to the pros so many wires that lead to no were removing the final few bolts and out she comes now i have to remove the sump off the old 202 to install on the worked 202 also a few of my ordered parts came new brake shoes and cyclinders and some diff oils over the next few days ill tidy up the engine bay and give it a repaint along with the new 202 also any one know if there are bosskits out there to suit crowns i realy wanna slap my nardi on this old girl all feedback would be choice.
