kkatl Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 hi everyone im new to this site and was just wondering if i could get some advice on my 2.0l pinto im gona chuck into my escort. i have located a 2.0l pinto and 5 speed sierra box. i was wondering what i need to change to get the engine and box in? are the standard escort engine mounts sweet for the pinto? i was told that the 5 speed sierra will just slot right in without any cutting needed is this true? can i use the sierra driveshaft? or the esky's? what about the diff? will the escort one handle the 2.0l? can some kind gentlemen please make a little list of what it takes to convert please? i know i need to cut the sump or something, maybe some links to some posts will be handy? any help is much appreciated.
