dave123456789 Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 hey guys i lost my power cord for my ps3 wheel and have a laptop power supply which is exactly the same specs as the steering wheels old supply but the plug is that big laptop plug and im after the smaller size. whats this called? i did ring a few places but they were a bit like confused and i really cant be bothered taking the wheel and that in somewhere as i dont have wheels at the moment. thanks if you can help. coldturkey Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Your best bet is to take your laptop power supply to Jaycar and see if they have anything, you'd probably have to rewire the cord with a different plug though. Cut the plug off the laptop, solder on new plug, insulate, and you're away laughing. Doubt you'd ever find an adaptor that went between the two sizes you have. ProZac Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Fuck, just realised i had my G25 setup, and a set of calipers right infront of me. Plug measures 5.5x2mm, as in 5.5mm outside diameter, with a 2mm hole down the middle. You should be able to find something close enough to work. Also, the laptop power supply you have outputs 24v?
