Sorensin
Hey mods move this if i posted in the wrong place please shift but it's kind of techie Now tyre guys, I'm looking for a tyre as narrow as I can get for a 5inch wide 15 steelie. It has to be quite short ideally 50/55. Wondering what brand does a narrow tyre hopefully a 155 maybe a 165? Thanks
fuel
you can get 145/55 on those Mitsubishi i Car things, and I'm sure the Smart ForTwo uses a similar size - might be a little spendy though.

civic_zr
175/50 R15 is made in an optima. not the stretched look, but about the right size for the rim. cheap as chips too 130 new of tardme
Sorensin
aswell as liking the stretched look its for practical reasons the car has very limited fitment so i do need to able to run a tyre will no ballooning to fit- so keen for more info on those 145s have asked a few tyre shops/my mechanic and so far the narrowest is 175. Snoozin
I was going to suggest a 165/50 or even a 165/65/15 - the latter seems quite common.
