J-W-G Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 ive been offered a set of these for $200 from my mate off his silvia and was wondering if it was worth fitting the to the escort i know ill have to change to a bias pedal box and change master cyl. Now 1) How much work in terms of fitting will they need(Adapter plates etc) 2) Will they(4pots) fit a 260mm rotor or is 280 the smallest? eke_zetec_RWD Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 will need new discs (vented). iv got 300mm discs on my escort with 4 pots and i can just fit 15 inch wheels over them. if your using 13inch rims 260mm dia discs are about as big as you can go. the rear will have drums stock, but im not sure what rear diff u are running? in all honesty a good set of stock escort brakes in good condition with new pads will work fine.
