mad_max
Im looking at buying a car but one problem with it is indicators arent working. They work with alarm so I assume theres something wrong with the switch. Will it get a wof if I made another switch on steering wheel or something for it? or on dash? Do they have to be run off the stalk?
4AG_Addict
What kind of car? Will probably be the indicator switch assembly or the flasher unit that is dead. Both are easy to replace, not sure why you would muck around gaying up your dash by fitting extra switches, just fix the problem right & be done with it. Bling
Pretty sure they have to disengage like they do normally, so a switch wouldn't work. If in doubt, read the VIRM on www.nzta.govt.nz. Also take onboard what 4AG_Addict, fix it properly and you'll not regret it.
