So what's the latest on the Hillman Budd?

I bought this late last year, Just got another WOF on it a couple of days ago. Euron8 came over and welded up a bit of rust on the pillars. Will update build thread when something interesting happens or I get a camera for some photos.

Have ordered electronic ignition kit too. Got to put away some pennies so can get my 28/36 weber rebuilt then hopefully it will move a bit quicker as its so bloody slow.

Its still matt black but with a cream bonnet now (havent painted it yet)

Just picked this up from Dave.

Cruised home and ran like a dream.

Currently has no battery, but will collect one tomorrow.

Replaced coil and no longer dies when slowing.

Gave the inside a quick clean. Found the letters 'H' and 'L' under the glovebox floor. Only 'IL MAN' left to find.

Good work getting it all together and nice. When is a 308 going into it?

That holden should have a permanent spot in the shed out of the elements!!

I agree.

It pains me to keep the Holden outside but it was in the garage up until just recently.

With all the crispy weather we've been having I just left it outside.

But the major work is not too far off. Finally received the last panel.

A filthy 308 in the Minx would be choice.

If I was rediculously rich, I'd probably 308 a plethora of vehicles.

Even though there is an infinite list of better engines.
