zep
I've recently found that if I want to run a thermostatic sandwich plate for my oil cooler I'm going to have to remote mount the filter. Not a problem but I do need to make sure I'm getting this all fitted right. Many people just run their setup with no thermostatic switch going: engine>filter>cooler>engine. If figure that if you want to have it operating at a certain temp then you need a thermostatic sandwich plate between the filter and its mount? Am I right in this diagram?:
