I cleaned up the flywheel, made what I hope is a permanant fix, changed to a close ratio race gearbox, changed over a few bits needed. Then dropped the engine back in, I'm having a breather at present but I just need to connect everything up now. Its a fully rebuilt no expense spared Holden 4-speed with V8 internals, even the oil alone costs more than my old trusty M20 that has served me for so many years of thrashing. I would hate to think what it would have cost me to buy one of these as this one is a loaner as my mate now uses a hand built one that he designed and had the parts made from scratch.
