danger
Putting a series 4 RX7 internally regulated alternator onto my series 1. Have removed the external regulator and found this diagram on ausrotary.com. Can anyone just tell me if this diagram makes sense before I do it? I have teh charge indicator and ignition wires sorted. forced
It will probably work with 30 connected to 86 and the relay thrown out. Steve

danger
Well this is what I need to know. I'm guessing the charge indicator needs the relay etc due to it using the tacho as a gauge on a series 1 rx7 till the ignitions turned on. I've rewired the car so was gonna run the output from the alternator back to the battery via the starter motor power feed and have the black igniton feed wire coming from the cabin which is what i'm guessing your calling the energiser wire. Does the circut for the charge indicator look like it makes sense? ie diodes round right way etc? I just dont trust a drawing off the internet. peteretep
the charge indication light needs a relay(or switch of some kind) to stop it being on whenever the car is off??
danger
Well fuck it, built it as its drawn. Used 12g wire for the 4mm squared stuff. Is that acceptable or bang?
