ms53_wagon
just pulled the clutch release bearing from 4k gearbox, as per pic with arrow. other bearing is the new one. the old one has a "bracket" from the back of it - do i have to mandle this off and put it onto the new bearing, or have i bought the wrong release bearing??? i had a quick go at pulling it off but it didnt wanna budge and doesnt look like it would... cheers
peteretep
yeah just pull the plastic bit out and swap it over, i imagine it would be stiff after being squished so much
QCADTA
most likely have to get the old one pressed off and new one pressed on. or get a socket the size of the inner and punch it out.
