Vintage Grumble
A mate of mine is slapping a 1UZFE in an old cressy, and he has been given the wrong AFM. Has anyone got any information on the diff types of AFM they came with?? From what I have found on the net, there is 3 types, the original flap type, then they went to the karmen vortex type (which I think is the most common, and what he has been given) and then they went to a Hot wire type one rite before they changed to MAP (the plug on the loom for the AFM is a lot like the ignitor plugs) and this is the one we need. His motor is a 1996 Non sequential injection from what ive been told. This make sense? So we need either a late model hot wire AFM for non sequential ECU, or a loom and sequential ECU for a Karman vortex type AFM? can anyone help or have any info? Cheers.
