Scrubb
My uncle has got my lancer fixed for me but it still needs the clutch and carb done. He was talking about I needed to know the 'settings' for it so he can fix it.. he used to know them but forgot. I think he's gonna rebuild it or something I'm not sure, I didnt even know they had settings So what I need to know is what carb do I have? I have a 1980 Lancer EX GSL with a 4G32 belt driven engine so does anyone know what carb is on these and the settings I need? At least if I know what carb I have I can let him know and go from there.. Any help will be appreciated!

fuel
I don't think it will be a Solex, most likely an Aisan downdraft carb.
Scrubb
Cant find any info on Aisan ones.. Does any one have any useful info on these Mikuni/Solex/Aisan carbs?
Scrubb
Got the carb pulled apart... its full of shit.. no wonder the car dont go! It says "AISAN" on the side and also "iso" and it had a tag under one of the bolts which reads: "C28LD". Does anyone have any info on these at all? fuel
I knew it would be an Aisan carb! I think the 28 refers to the primary bore size which would be 28mm. Secondary is probably 32mm. I'm pretty sure they are the same carbs used on most other post 80ish mitsis but with different jets to suit different engine capacities. Ogre
yeah, pretty much all the mitsis use the same carb from bout 1980 to about 87 both FWD and RWD, and all the engines.Just jetted different for them.
Scrubb
Yeah, when my bro went to supercheap to get the carb kit they didnt have Lancer EX on their computer but all the Lancers with 4G32's had the same carb so I guess its the right one.. Just wish I could find some info on it..
