Goat
What causes squeaking discs? Inspected and has HEAPS of meat left on the pad, and no visible stuff caught in it. But squeaks under braking. What should i do? Brake clean?
fuel
Alot of the squealing is actually the brake pad vibrating at such a rate inside the brake caliper. Try taking the brake pads out and using an anti-squeal compound on the back of them and putting them back in.
CaMpylobacter
give the pads and discs a sand too jsut for laughs. pad could be glazed
Spencer
yea as above, don't know about your kind of car in particular but when people change pads they often don't put the anti-squeal shims back in

Jay GTi
Or just some high temp grease or copperslip works just as well.
