Gaz
32/36 is good for around 130-140hp
J2Racing
Go the webber you can alawys upgrade it later to the bigger modle from a capri. Not sure of the size but uses the same base as a 32/36. At a guess the holley will be to big.
cubastreet
That's the twin 40 DGAS I believe. Not too common, but not too expensive either. Both chokes open at once on it. DGAV is a pretty sweet carb, good compromise between economy/drivability and top end if it's a road car.
FLAWLES
would the 350 holey over fuel the 1600cc engine? i mean come on thats a big carb? if it were me i would stick with the webber
Gaz
Tend to agree with the above^ dont wanna wash the bores!
J2Racing
Very true the holley will flood the 1600cc every time. They are too big for 3000cc engines. People put them on 3L capris and they a crap. As for the DGAS being cheap. Not realy I don't think. I sold my spare for $200 to a good mate. But if someone wants to sell me one for less I'll take three.
RT
too big for 1600. I saw someone with one on a 2L pinto though. But it was a mean nos setup and ran 11's..
J2Racing
I ran a DGAS on my 2L pinto when I raced it. It had suffered alot of head work and ran like a dream. Bolted direct to factory manifold.
