Guest kris
that does not seem to work :S.... it pulls the plastic bit out of the top of the pedal ? WTF? Angled piece of tubing, it goes in there. If you have it in there and the plastic pulls out, then I think you have assembled your pedal incorrectly. Hang on. Was auto. You need that angled bit of pipe. Do you have it there? You can tell it's a Friday - I sound like a f**k'n drongo.
Eskorted
sup make sure u drill the hole directly inline with the pedal. not to high but not to low! if its to low the cable will bend on the pedal and snap it... (ive been through 3 cables) also get a 2 in long pipe wide enough so the plastic bit fits just into it. cut it on a angle and angle it up. weld her up and all systems go. make sure u tighten up the adjusting nuts good cause they have a habbit of rattling loose. but yea its Very important that the cable does not touch the pedal when fully pressed down. PS i kno what ur talking about the plastic bit coming out. mine done the same. one of the lil clips on the side broke off, so now i have 6 cable ties holding it down it works mint! just put one across the fron one on the back and 4 in a X over it
