davidian Posted July 13, 2005 Author Share Posted July 13, 2005 yeah apparently the box on the terranos is the weak link ay... my mate Dave from waikato also replaced two on his datsun ute with a non turbo td 27 and now hes got one custom HD'd out... cost him $1600 for the rebuild + the box i just blew is still under warranty and shit luckily, but it was a piece of shit, hard to get into 2nd and 5th from the beginning and made the whole car shutter in 2nd and reverse until the clutch was out, a real pig i tell ya cant wait to return it, ill prob just rebuild the old box that was still in it when i got it... looks like it only needs 1-2 bearings so im gonna try find someone that can custom build me some HD bearings...
