davidian
if the cars on trade me go and have a look dude. take your standy mounts and compare them, maybe do a quick scetch of the mounts and measurements of how you need to mod them and take that to an engineer shop-theres plenty of them around.. sorry cant be more help but if you cant find someone thats done it, this could be the way to go... davidian
although i dont even think youll have to mod the mounts to tell you the truth.. might just be able to use another model standy mounts like early cortina or something. a mate of mine droped a 3l 6 in his 4dr mk2 and didnt even mod the mounts, or maybe just trimmed the rubber bits to fit it in. just chuk your battery in the boot for extra space and mod the sump. not a 100 percent tho

SYKOV6
i wouldnt bother man a mate had a 2.3 v6 in a mk1 esky never really went that good was better with the pinto he took out. the 2.3s are a bit like the ford v4 good idea but badly executed by ford they didnt have enough power to pull the skin off a savaloy in a mk5 waste of time without doing some serious mods to it cheaper to do up a 2lt pinto
