Hey, thank you very much for the offer, I believe we have the paper work sorted in the way of roll call/maps/directions etc. stuff: Hot Water Beach is always an option for late Saturday/Sunday happenings if anyones keen. Also have been told to pass on the message of a Hampton Downs event on Sunday which we can go past if wanted.

No worries, we booked out the backpackers part of the campground in Hahei, $30 per person and sleeps 30 and there's other accommodation if need be.

That seems like a sweet deal to be honest Either way no worries! Sorting out the printing of maps/directions/contacts now, in answer to questions of who to contact if breakdowns happen or you get lost. Any other queries or suggestions let us know cheers

So Backpackers accommodation is all booked It sleeps up to 30, $30 per person and you can all pay on the day, you won't need to call in or anything. If there happens to be more people than 30, there is other accommodation available at the campground that will be available. If you were interested in one of the caravans (3 of them, sleep 2, $70) you should call and book it soon. I was also told to pass on the message that it is a family-orientated camp ground and they don't want rowdiness cheers.

I've been really busy with study lately sorry but I did go look at the campgrounds last week as I said I would. There are 3 caravans and they're $70 for two people in each. The cabins as mentioned would be $28 for 8 people or $32 for 10 and your own bedding/sleeping bags would be needed. Backpackers section of the campground is $30 per person, very cosy as many bunk beds and the linen is included but she is finding out if that is available or not because there's a large group going to Hahei the day before us. If you are interested it'd be best to ring Kym at Hahei Campgrounds (866 3889) Basically say you're from the car club and Amy sent you and you give her your details/card number and pay on the day of arrival. They're very relaxed cool people. Other than that let me know if there's anything I can do to help you guys out. BDA780 and I are organizing cruise and stuff.

Replaced parts and carburetor's partially fixed for being able to be turned over, so should be able to start it properly within the next day or so!

Filled and bought fuel for myself for the very first time today, for awesome reasons! Dad and I mixed the fuel up and did other things in preparation then started it up to get spark and man it sounded sweet!!! Then I connected the fuel tank and unfortunately that's as far as it went for today.. Immediately flooded the carburetor (ultimately annoying when it's something we haven't done that goes wrong). Found the issue though so Dad's sussing new parts for it this week to do ourselves this time to hopefully give it another go over soon. Despite a small setback, could not be happier right now Fucking love this car (and Dad of course)

Basically you'd need to take your own sleeping bag. I might just go see them in the next day or so to roughly figure it out.

Backpackers type dealio? Lols nice name change. I'm finding out from the Campgrounds what sort of deals they can do but there is an 8 sleeper room which should work out to be about $20 each but I'll find out more. Also there are some sweet caravans that can be slept in. They should be emailing me prices soon.
