    F series if you can find one. i ended up with a dana 30 from a volvo 244. is 10mm shorter than ke70. is not as heavy as a hilux. comes with disc brakes too. and because it is a dana diff there is a huge selection of lockers and lsd's for them from the 4x4 guys.

    Who are you getting to lengthen the driveshaft? You could make up a spacer to go between the diff and the driveshaft?? It's coming along nicely.

    should be quicker than that. Altezza is 7.2 seconds apparently The corolla with 3sge must be <5 seconds with the better power to weight ratio. Its still a shit load of work and money though mate!!! haha

    Put the motor on an angle parallel to the axel so it is all perpendicular.

    Get some camber on those back wheels by cutting the axel in half. And joining the two halves with a steering universal joint And reposition the axel bearings so the axels make a V shape??

    Noticed my tachometer is not hooked up to the new loom on the altezza 3sge/link g4. Would it be possible to hook this up? Don't really fancy having a gauge that doesn't work. Where would it go to now that there is no distributor?

    Sweet, cheers. Might have to do some experimenting once it is drivable. My link didn't come with a USB cable. They usually do? Hopefully the electrician just forgot to pass it on.

    Apparently she is all wired up and running with her new link g4. So should be home waiting for me when i fly home on friday. Next up is - Driveshaft - Rear brake lines - Find some suspension since it looks like my HSD's are definitely not going to turn up - Sort some bigger vented Discs for the front.
