  1. Brought another heater core, since i stuffed the last one with my roughness. Had the bends cut of the inlet and outlet and re crimped. chucked it in backwards with the in and outlets sticking out the holes i cut. where they use to come out: Fitted: Should work alright?? Hopefully be some more exciting updates soon. Mortgage is eating all my money, so, saving for coilovers is not really going to good.
  2. Started pulling the cressida struts apart to see what was usuable between gx71/mx73 and facelift ke70. Quick comparison of instant brake upgrade. Nice and big. Yet still fit a 14inch rim. With ease of upgrading to a wilwood caliper in the future if needed. And vented!
  3. Update time again people. Bottom of the heater. It now fits. Removed a good 3inches Front of heater. Drilled holes for the cores hoses to poke through towards the cabin instead of through the firewall Getting some soldering done on it at the moment. Then shall refit it hopefully for the last time.
  4. Right. Scrap that idea. Attcked the factory heater core with the sabre saw and it lost allot of excess ducting on the bottom. But it now fits again. Disappointing as I wanted to buy one I those uk heaters to see what they went like.
  5. yea, the ones i brought had to many holes. So when i converted them from 5 stud to 4 stud. it wasn't a very nice fit.
  6. Bit of a shame we couldn't easily make them vented. But should last a little while hopefully. now to machine and drill.
  7. Finally pieced together something that resembles a front bumper. Thanks to Dellorto for the mounts/brackets/irons.
  8. Got to many holes? Make your own. Trunk is painted and looking sweet too!
  9. about 1500mm wide. 90mm wider than a ke70. Ive seen s13 done before into an ae86 which looked like it worked alright. otherwise if i was to attempt it again i would go with a altezza rear, because they are so cheap, easy to find, have great lsd options and are good ratios. And simply shorten the driveshafts and control arms or make some new ones. Problem would be if you wanted to run small wheels and the brakes may be to big.
  10. Third bloody 83 corolla I have had to fix the rust around the boot. All in the exact same spots.
  11. What did you get for christmas? I got this sweet Moon Tachometer form my parents, Geez they are amazing it should have enough range for the beams
  12. F series if you can find one. i ended up with a dana 30 from a volvo 244. is 10mm shorter than ke70. is not as heavy as a hilux. comes with disc brakes too. and because it is a dana diff there is a huge selection of lockers and lsd's for them from the 4x4 guys.
  13. mmm, interesting. haha. Huge Thanks to Simon for all his efforts in the short time since ive been going.
  14. Sold a couple $250-260 to try cover pattern costs. ONO on here.
  15. Rear break lines - Done New home made rear brake discs - Work in progress... New Speedo Cable - Fitted Other new reproduction ke70 parts - coming soon? And anybody after an altezza individual throttle body adaptor? selling like hot cakes on the trademe. Cheaper for you's Cheers
  16. Who are you getting to lengthen the driveshaft? You could make up a spacer to go between the diff and the driveshaft?? It's coming along nicely.
  17. should be quicker than that. Altezza is 7.2 seconds apparently The corolla with 3sge must be <5 seconds with the better power to weight ratio. Its still a shit load of work and money though mate!!! haha
  18. Here's a Ke30 from Palmy that has just been done Like others have said, its allot of work to do it properly.
  19. Yea I really like those. Don't like the idea of expensive imported wheels tho. I do have some big plans for future wheels though. Top secret wheels
  20. Good to see you made it on kris.
  21. Oooh those mudflaps will be dragging. the question is for how long. and yes, the rubber is still there from the previous owner's trying to pop the 13's / blow the almighty 4k haha
