  1. HAHAHA OMG, Yeah dude rears is simple as cake 1 1/2 coils in rear, and you will have a good drop yet still be captive, front do a 1 and 1/2 or 2 in front and use gx61 shocks to get it captive. Just don't over heat the spring and you'll be sweet. And the ride is freaking sweet. (this has uncut ma61 springs in front in this pic but doesn't completely match up to the rear 1 1/2 cut) This is the mx73 spring with 1 and 1/2 out front on 14's. Don't be fooled by the front gaurd gap as the front gaurd is at a way heigher level than rear. Best of Luck, Stan.
  2. ^Can vouch for the ride of his x7
  3. I like that plan, do let me know when you want to dump out that 16v!
  4. Hahaha dude welcome to the door club! gutted ouch.
  5. For 14 dollars my rear is now captive!!! sooo stoked Gt munros Result: Some sunshine. Definitely lower than I had made it initially on photoshop. And will be even more when colins arrive with my 155/65's.
  6. Chuck me down for two stickers! +1 to backyard bar premeet to convoy!
  7. Yo! it does by few mils. Not yet gonna take it out this week or something and do it so no worries, cheers man. They're definitely "lush" haha
  8. Awesome very much appreciated!, sounds like I'm going to be racing line the streets beware new zealand hahahaha, I kid. Oh true hahaha, the thing is it was already toed out before the coilovers went in which will probably be from the previous owner putting in superlow springs and not getting an alignment. Oh thanks for the headsup definitely gotta dig more into my shallow wallet and invest in some soon before I go through a tonne of em.
  9. Oh awesome, I was already looking into an an adjustable panhard rod. Can't report about the wear because the whole time I've had the car it's been in the garage and on the road under 5 times for a quick drive around the block. Yeah it is very noticeable that's why I was curious, I will try the string out first before getting it on an alignment machine. Thanks for the help Simon!
  10. Hey, I've noticed that I have toe out by a few degrees in my front, but when my steering wheel is straight my left wheel turns out to the left more, I haven't been for a wheel alignment and I can't see much visual deformation in my knuckles or tie rod ends. Is there anything else I should be looking out for before going for alignment? Also my wheels all look as if they are different offset, but the wheels are all the same offset though I have even tried swapping them around because I thought maybe they were different offset pairs. My rear sticks out more on the right than the left (I am aware this could possibly be because my springs in atm may be cut uneven ) but it is a very exaggerated difference and my front sticks out more on the left than right. Would a wheel alignment fix this or may this be a twisted chassis or what? Much appreciated Thanks
  11. Fanks Was that the one from the c33? If so I was going to get that one at first. So comfy right? I straight up just dozed off sitting in it.
  12. Shakotan duuuuuude, Picked these up: Weetbix crew In, Picture doesn't do justice. This one gives a better idea
  13. Hey slacker.cam, just the overall condition, how much life it should have left etc what will be needed to get it running again. I'm on a low budget so yeah for the price it comes with motor that's missing a few pieces and no loom, extractors and gbox and mounts probably a k50, I thought it was very good. I had a quick convo with the dude over phone he sounds like one haha, he said he payed $850 for it, "hasn't been thrashed" (haha), compression is still sweet, unaware of k's , didn't have a clue what the gearbox was when I asked him so I assumed it was a k50 from a ae70 for the 4-a cause it doesn't require a bellhousing to bolt up against it. Price is pretty reasonable and I'm mainly after it for the RWD parts it comes with such as the rwd tvis intake manifold and the extractors that I could salvage and put onto another cheap fxgt bigport I have lined up for back up if it's not worth getting that one running. And yeah I'm skeptical and that's where I need someones help. Thanks!
  14. Hey there, After a good hand, eye and brain to help me check out this 4age sometime this following week/s Box of beers will definitely be returned for the favour. Much appreciated, Stan.
  15. Won't have wats for rear though, thinking of making 2 wide 0+ a3a's using the rear barrels from the other pair for rear.
  16. Can't wait to see it with the wheels, then you might wake up one day and find that a few coils have gone missing and it's sitting right on the ground hahaha totally wasn't me
  17. Hahaha Thomas, will get a new batty, sort out the shocks shocks and bumpstops and hopefully have the front coilovers in to roll on down to that! Do you really think it's ideal driving an hour there and an hour back with his car, you'll have to bring a few bottles of water, and the mudgaurds will probably scrape all the way back with all the wheels in hahah + it's gonna be deadly on gas. Cheers dude, I freaking have wet dreams about your kp hahaha
  18. Little boring update, Chris aka EURON8 came and stole the roofracks today. Seeing as I was already in the garage I thought I'd do a little investigating on the bump stops, I took them out and sat the car back down to see how much lower it would sit, it went down quite a few more mils. (picture above is the car still sitting on bumpstops) I'm gonna have to take off two sections of these, not sure if they're still gonna be effective do their job but unfortunately cant get to the desirable height without doing so. Can't fit a scissor jack under the chassis rails, somewhat of a sign that I'm on the right track. Still need the front setup to arrive so I can see what it's like with the front matched up, and very curious how it's gonna look and sit on 155/65/13's on the starsharks, next thing on the list is to get some appropriate shocks or get these 30 year old bad boys shortened haha.
  19. Thanks means a lot J-Calico! I hope to be covering some neat NZ cars too on the blog which have likes of a female owned dr30 on work equips, s13 on hoshino g5's etc already on the list . And I think that once anyone owns a old car it's pretty much a no exit road even though there's many times I've almost went and just bought a r32 gtst sedan or s14 to do sr (into r32) + meshies + coilovers +LSD = weeeeee! But obviously today I'm still down the uniquer road
  20. Hey cheers Louis still got it stored safely in my pms! much appreciated, I think I possibly saw you in the Mini in Highbury the other day haha
  21. Oh bro you wouldn't have a clue how much I would appreciate that, straight up come pickup the roofrack and I'll tell the line it got stolen hahaha
  22. Thanks guys Hey man sorry I have a few mates in line for them already but if they aren't keen anymore I'll let you know!
