yeah i was just thinking that after i posted haha, what are the legalities if i got my shocks shortened and had cutties so their captive? also i got air shocks in the rear, what's the deal with them, can you just deflate them to possibly make them more captive? i don't have a clue about them as i've never had them in a car before....

yeah was thinking after our wee chat at the meet today just lopping off a couple of coils temporarily and getting a spare set for warrants, anyone have spring compressors?

Station gear fit in all sweet? How much shorter are starion shocks than sigma ones? Yeah I'd rather cut than compress cause of the shit stories I've heard that springs are way weaker after compressing etc, asked around and best price I've got so far is 1100 for a full set of shortened shocks, is that too much?

Just trying to get ideas on how to get my sigma low as it sits way too high, never wanna go back to cobras or king springs as their "super low" are really never that low, it's an 81 sedan with the Sohc 4g63, any ideas? Cheaper the better, cheers!!

failed wof on both lower front ball joints and link rod bushes in my other sigma which is a 83 sedan, just wondering if anyone wants to chuck these in for me if i supply the parts for $$$/booze/etc, would do myself but don't have the tools and also hate paying workshops to do that kinda stuff, cheers!

ok so it was the u joints but also BOTH rear tyres had warped and had horrendous bulges in them hence the wobbling and vibrations!

Midas Newtown has always been reallllly good to me, only when i've dealt with thinus though mainly, helped me out well, others may have different opinions but they have been pretty reasonable with me!

was gonna jack it up but had nowhere flat to do it and being away had no tools or anything to check it out!! jacked up one wheel at a time and wheel bearings seemed to be fine and wheels were all secure etc, also doesnt seem to be any uneven tire wear from what i can see, also it has air shocks which i found out were completely deflated about the time we got to auckland so that may have been a contributing factor!! yeah i know thank fuck we made it back!! but am just trying to work out what is wrong now as i have my other sig to run around in!!

soooo me and my mates took my sigma up to auckland for the parkway drive concert this week, about halfway up north island, it started vibrating pretty bad on the open road then when driving slower around town the whole ass end shook from side to side, and had the most horrible screeching sound when you put your foot down, but even when just coasting in neutral for example it still wobbled around but it only made the sound when i put my foot hard down, just made it back to wellies today and is still feeling horrid to drive but screeching sound is gone, thinking wheel is fucking buckled or a bearing in the diff has gone but it's kinda baffled me, any ideas??
