  1. Been a bit slack on the rebuild so far, seem to be doing more on the other halfs Pulsar and Watching to much Rugby. Must get motivated!!
  2. Still undecided on the airbag thing, may end up leaving looking nana-ish outside and go extreme inside but I am sure that will change as it progresses. Lots of Audio and Electronics, including Central Locking, Pop Doors and Electric Windows if I can work the window thing out?
  3. Have you sorted out a Wheel Nut yet? Will have a spare one floating around if you still need it. Also if you get stuck with the Brake assembly let me know have put plenty of them together before.
  4. Love the shed! Engines looking Mint, Great Job with the Rebuild!! If you get stuck on the Electrics let me know, always keen to help. Keep up the good work
  5. Definitely an Auto Upholsterer for the material/cloth type Vinyl. Just the same as doing an OS Vinyl Roof
  6. If Ive finished work on time, definitely be keen, be good to meet a few OS members from the Waikato
  7. Yeah, thinking about different colours, not 100% sure yet, actually not even 10% sure what colour, Wife would love the Purple but Im not convinced, even though with a wrap I can change my mind every 6 months and rewrap it (finances allowing). Air Bags was actually my Dads idea, that comes from the Truck background, but it may be a bit of a major to do but who knows. He reckons it would give a better ride but I am keen for the wow factor, something a bit different. Not that you want a Mini any lower, though it would look cool when you park and dropped it literally on its a**e!
  8. OK, after a bit of thinking the ideas for the Mini have started flowing. Paint - Nah, decided to Wrap It, maybe Matt Black? Electrics - Windows, Central Locking, Pop Door Locks Body - Standard? Smoothed Door, no handles Interior - Complete rehash, custom F/Glass Dash, Carbon Fibre? Different Seating Arrangement in the rear, lots of Car Audio Other - Maybe Air Bags??? Any Ideas/Thoughts?
  9. If you need a hand let us know, electrics is my specialty especially with Minis, and getting them to go again, but you are right toasters do have more wires!
  10. All nicely parked up in the garage. Did a little bit of work on it Yesterday. Got out with the wire brush and stripped back the primer to find a few rust holes but nothing to serious, chucked a bit of Rust convertor on it to slow it down for now. Will post some photos soon.
  11. Ha Ha Just realised my Ginga Ninja is almost the same colour as the car! Luckily I am not planning on keeping it that colour, the car that is.
  12. Well The new Project made it Home today, (Thanks SP450andLE for the sale of the Clubman). Well just anyway as one of the Tie Downs decide to snap just coming into Taupiri , luckily the Mini didn't decide to move anywhere, just as well it wasn't on the motorway! Now the fun stuff begins, all the ideas and where to begin. I guess the first step is to start removing Rust and Straightening Panels.
  13. Looking forward to see how she goes, just about to start my project Mini soon. Happy Restoring!
  14. Any Luck getting hold of a trailer? May have something if you still require one
