  1. We will be there in a corolla, a cube or a roadster. Nut sure which yet. Depends how many wanna roll with us
  2. I can volunteer my camera. Does HD video or photos.. obviously. Which ever you were intending to capture
  3. How legit is it for me to slot the mounting hole on the rear upper arm in my mx5 to dial out some of the negative camber? I noticed it was mentioned earlier about slotted mounting holes to dial out camber, but I was unsure whether this suggestion was srs.
  4. I see you found my pics before i even posted the link. haha A+
  5. This car was giving me wood all day Saturday. I've got a few good pics from the pits that i'll throw a link up to when i take them off the mammory card.
  6. You lot were waiting ages for Mexicans and burgers it seemed.
  7. Good meat tonight. Some virgins learnt what clunge was. A++
  8. Haha nah had the box for over a year now.... Longest ive ever owned a car.... I think she's the one...
  9. I'll be there in a big gay purple Cube. I won't be joing smoke fest unless someone wants to dump some diesel so I can get the front wheels spinning....
  10. Shouldn't need to book it, KK. I did a meet there on a Wednesday once and like 25 of us showed up at 7.30pm and they were about to close.... so they stayed open for another 2 and a half hours for it. She's fairly lax. haha.
  11. Game on. I like this pub. Sorry I couldnt make it out last night..! Was being a pussy.
  12. Also my vote on poll above is: yes im coming but I dunno if I'll come in my car or a mates car
  13. Game on. Down as fuck for this. Know a few mates who could be keen too. Fark yeah!
  14. I find speights no mates ale house on tinakori road has a bad carpark, alwaysfull up and struggle for a park. Might be better mid week though. I held a couple of meets for my blog recently that went down quite well. one was at "Strathmore Local" real quiet area. Good bar. Hearty as food (do a fuckin excellent steak) and heaps of on street parking in a quiet residential area and some offstreet too. the other place I held a meet at was Dennys porirua.... fairly decent feeds there. Excellent carpark, but might be out of the way for a few boes. We just went for dessert. $7 for a mudcake with icecream and steamy fudge is farken ideal. just some other suggestions...
  15. Yeah should just need a bit of rolling, waiting for adaptors to arrive. Bought Hart Racing Takechi Projects by Hayashi. Long winded name much? Haha. Bought them right here off OS. Just gonna give the lips a bit of a polish, but they're in fairly mint condish. Can't wait to get adaptors sussed to get them fitted. Will look shit until its lowered tho. Haha.
  16. Dude that sucks shit. Keep my ear to the ground in my hood for you boss.
  17. I've got 14x6 +15 wheels, and I'm gonna run a 25mm adaptor for 4x100 to 4x114.3... making it -10 offset, but they should still fit in the guards better than 15x8 +0 would
  18. Wasn't so much asking about whether they're certable or not. It was just general interest about why there is a difference in limit between a 20mm bolt on spacer maximum and a 27/30mm maximum bolt on adaptor limitation. I mustve misread the guide, because where it says it must attach to the hub or wheel, I thought it mean it needed to bolt on as it does with an adaptor.
  19. Slip on are never legal afaik, unless they are OEM spec'd
  20. Why is the limit between width of hub spacers and hub adaptors different when going for cert? Bolt on spacers are limited to 20mm where Bolt on hub (stud pattern) adaptors are limited to 27mm... aren't they effectively the same?
  21. Don't belong to the forum and don't you need to be a certifier to belong?Although even if I did it would most probably start a war of hate from the certifiers TBH. Nah I'm a member on there and have been throwing my two cents in. http://lvvta.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... 240&page=1 There's a special certifiers only section, but the tech section is all John doe/joe bloggs you and me people asking questions to actual certifiers. Pretty handy info on there too.
  22. Kk, you should post that post on the lvvta forum.
