  1. Another vote for black roof....if my opinion counts. (It probly doesn't) Satin black, gloss be too shiny, matte wouldn't look right.
  2. I do agree that that is one of the awesomest Z's around, (not that it looks like that anymore) but yeah i want mine to be a bit more practical. As far as getting an L28, i did think about it, but i want the engine to match the rest of the car. As far as i'm concerned as soon as you put an L28 or an L26 into a 240Z you can't really call it a 240Z anymore as the 240 in the name refers to the engine displacement, so your kinda lying to yourself. But to each their own.
  3. Yeah I could put an RB engine in it, that would be great.......if I wanted to look like every other dickhead who rebuilds an S30. My aim is not power, my aim is a nice looking/sounding car that I can cruise around in.
  4. Man those last 2 are ugly as sin The matte green one is closer to the money. Engine wise I am sticking with the L24, just tweaking it a little, triple carbs, street cam, headers. That's about it. With a car this pretty it's not about speed. More about the sound.
  5. I would agree with that pic, if they got rid of the headlight covers.
  6. What colour would you recommend? Gloss orange? Maybe with some Watanabes, flares and a G-nose?
  7. This is what I want it to look like when it's finished, well pretty similar, but with satin black paint and different wheels.
  8. holy crap that was quick!....hahahahaha.....like 2 mins, didn't even have time to make one myself.
  9. So I have had this car for about a year and a half now and have been working on it at a pace that can only be accurately described as glacial. Work has gained pace recently as I now have dedicated working space for it (well shared dedicated working space, just have to kill a few pygmies every time I want to do any work). Unfortunately I don't have any pics of what it looked like to begin with (lost them DAMMIT!), but here's where it's at right now: Just have to take the roof lining out and scrape off the sound deadening then it's all ready for a sodablast when my next pay arrives.
