  1. Not like I have anything else to do that day. Always keen for some sausage and a bunch of smack talk.
  2. Offer stands if you can get it all to silverdale. We unsieze a lot of siezed shit (kinda happens when most of the stuff we work on has lived in salt water).
  3. What's the feasability of dropping the whole steering rack and/or bring/drive the car to my work in Silverdale. Got access to oxy here and can give it a good hit for ya.
  4. Oxy/acetalene bro! Don't think LPG would be enough either.
  5. What he said ^^ Then if that doesn't work, apply some heat.
  6. Thought I'd have a bit of fun with some custom door cards and this is what I came up with, full Sunday picnic spec! Note the interior is now half black, like it should have been from the factory I reckon. Still trying to decide on what (if any) wheels I want to replace the buddyclubs with, almost tempted to go hobo spec with some rota wheels. I know they're knockoffs but they're so cheap!
  7. I did say I would publicly slander you if you didn't show didn't I, haha. But it's okay, we'll just saying you're preparing yourself for future meets. If you don't make the next one I'll beat you to a pulp haha.
  8. Haha, sweet bro just flick me a PM if you're keen. HOrewa is all good. I saw you got an MX5 there, which salon you working at now? Lulz.
  9. I think I pretty much have to drive past your place to get to the meet (live in Whangaparaoa). Wanna ride in the hairdressermobile?
  10. Sorry mate, I climbed under my car and all the air con shizz is in the way, can't see a damn thing without getting it up on a hoist!
  11. My bad, didn't even think of that. Here is another pic of one on the webs I didn't have time to have a look before work this morning so will do when I get home if this doesn't manage to sort things for you.
  12. Also, this might help... Tis a pic of one in a car.
  13. If no one answers this by tomorrow I'll have a look for you on my car, tis up in the garage at the moment.
  14. That's cos I am everywhere!! I think there's enough coast members to host the Auckland lads for some summer BBQ meets at Shakespeare and Okuromai Bay over summer too. Backyard sounds sweet, hopefully more than the last meet where I think 3 people turned up, haha.
  15. Mean bro, can join the list of fellow coasties that turn up! God at this rate we'll need a coast meet before the shore meet before the meat meet, haha.
  16. Must remember to get a sticker this time.
  17. Ok if you can find somewhere to do it sweet, I've got just about every tool we could possibly need so I think we'll have that part covered. Flick me a PM when you know what you wanna do, will have to be after summit.
  18. Ah I did one of those on my sister's ZC when we did her cambelt. It's a bit of a job but not huge... I can help you do it if you like bro, hopefully my memory has all the "how to's" in there still! I wouldn't leave it to chance.
  19. Where was the leak coming from dude? Sounds like one of those situations you might look back on and say, "if only..."
  20. Best rip out the haynes manual and get stuck into it, see how it all works out, yeah? "What's the worst that can happen?"
  21. How bad did it over heat? Replacing a head gasket isn't a huge job aye. Easier than putting a new engine in, just depends how much time/money you wanna spend now vs potential gains. It also depends just how hot it got. If it really cooked it to the point of warped/cracked head then ditch it and slap a new motor in. If it just got hot enough to pop the gasket, then it's possibly easier just to fix it for now.
  22. Weren't you talking about one of these... http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 006932.htm Could be an opportune time to do it...
  23. Well. That's just silly now isn't it!
