  1. I'm far from conservative - our hallway has flamingos at the end - but I still had to rein Chris in when it came to picking tiles etc... Looking spectacular Sheep
  2. Jack the stripper sounds like you can hire him by the hour for Batchelorette parties... Is your guttering aluminium? Or did you go with the coloured plastic stuff?
  3. The block work really makes the footprint increase clear. So much more room for activities.
  4. Wellington Dave doesn't seem to have much trouble, Wellington Geoff. So I suspect the issue is less with the logical timing and more with the user not checking the thread for the meet date... A wild Evan made an appearance last night. That was fun.
  5. I really really hope this means cutting a hole in the roof for Dave to stand in while holding a torch and wearing a head lamp.
  6. The current version has a bowl mounting plate that looks like this. I'd say it would be super easy to retrofit said plate to your existing base. And then the new style bowls would fit. They come in two sizes, but both are wider than your current one, which will be why your attachments are a bit big... You can also get a glass bowl.
  7. ...I have a can of that. Not sold for kitchen appliance. That red would look pretty sweet with a gold flake though.
  8. This is awesome. I'll admit to scrolling down thinking "please dont let it be red, please dont let it be red", but then remembered that plenty of people like red kitchen things and can't fathom my choice (pale green) and we shouldn't judge each other. Put it all together, I want to see!!!
  9. It matches the rest of our "construction chic" decor, so it can stay till we next redecorate. Probably Tuesday.
  10. That's a concrete saw. Because why would you not have a huge concrete saw right in your entryway???
  11. So on Sunday I did this to a bit of the hallway floor. It was the only clear spot in the house, so naturally Chris put his shoes there immediately. And then we made a big (temporary, as that wall is to be completely removed shortly) doorway, which has already made the space feel much bigger. All of which was in preparation for yesterday's installation of this wee beasty. Yay, heat!
  12. Maybe when we've paid off some of the shed...
  13. It is indeed a good size. Quite similar to yours actually. But 1m narrower, and we only have a 3m stud. All our stuff moved back in on Saturday. And now it doesn't look like a very big shed, because everything is on the floor, and there's also a car and trailer in there. Shelving and various other storage devices are the next order of business, so that all the floor things can become wall things, and all the cars can come home from their various hiding places.
  14. Aaaaaah, is this why I kept thinking you were Pete?
  15. If you pre-wire they then want to inspect it all as part of the completion sign off. Not that we're doing anything dodgy, but in the interest of not slowing the process down, not having it in there for final inspection is best.
  16. Steady on. Confusion has been resolved. As usual, I am right.
  17. Bahaha. I wasn't aware that it'd even been discussed yet! Cant do electrical until all signed off anyhow.
  18. Is roller. But the kinks haven't fallen out yet from its time on the back of a ute/the floor, so it kinda looks sectional ish I guess. Yes. Remote. Yay! Although no power as yet. Have to run an extension lead from the kitchen window when we wanna be fancy.
  19. Oh. Yeah. So we got a door on sat. This is what arriving home looks like now. Whoot.
  20. Stop being a wuss. Shoveling some dirt won't hurt you.
  21. A cardboard box would have been lincoln proof... It's a single slider. We'll probably try and get the dirt out down the other side of the house... or I guess the option is still there to trailer up to the doors and just be more careful where you throw the spade...
