    just sold the dr650 to someone from greymouth.

    sold the gb500 to someone from wellington a few weeks ago.

    might sell the guzzi next.

     

    maybe

     

     

    more funds for the next bike, or the capri.

     

    or the other 6 bikes that are left....

     

    stay tuned for the next drunk Sam purchase .

    Triumph was playing up the other day on the way to work.

    cut out on the hill, wriggled a few wires and swore at it.

    got me to work.

    down loaded a wiring diagram and had a look.

    turns out that under the seat there is a factory connection for an alarm.

    when not fitted, there is a plug that bridges a few wires together.

    one of them is the ignition circuit feed to the coils etc.

    the thin wire loop had been cut (probably for a kill switch), then twisted back together and taped up.

    the wires had got hot and melted a bit.

    had the bike for 9 or so years, was like that the whole time.

    cut the wires going to the plug and soldered them together.

    back on it today for the first time for a proper hoon.

    different bike, way more power than it has ever had.

    stoked.

    Got wof on the xr125 and the gb500 Hondog yesterday.

    needed a tail light bulb for the xr, otherwise all good.

    Hondog is on trademe, has reached reserve at 2500, another week and a bit to go.

    looking to get a f650 next, then sell the dr650.

    or whatever drunk Sam buys…

    brought a lift kit from Ukraine earlier this year, took about 3 or 4 weeks to get here

    Ohlins springs, cartridge emulators in the front, ikons in the back.

    Re-flashed cdi thing.

    thruxton seat/tail and rear bits.

    fiberglass nacelle/headlight housing.

    harley drag bars.

    hi flow airbox mod, and tor pipes.

    metzler on the back, bt46 on the front 

     

     

     

    it’s fun.
