Hi Guys .
Can someone refresh my memory on high stop brake lights.
Are they still a must have on vehicles registered after date "X"?
Thanks.

Is the radiator core clean?
In my experience the most common cause of overheating with heavy diesel engines is a blocked core from dirt getting blown into it by the fan.
have you given it a thorough clean out with compressed air?

I'll make an offer on your behalf.

I predict that the accelerator pump linkage is adjusted incorrectly.
Does it have a Holley carb?

^This is why LPG has a bad rep.
The pressure in the tank doesn't decrease until the tank is on the brink of empty. the tank pressure is due to LPG boiling at room temperature.
"As its boiling point is below room temperature, LPG will evaporate quickly at normal temperatures and pressures and is usually supplied in pressurized steel vessels. They are typically filled to 80–85% of their capacity to allow for thermal expansion of the contained liquid. The ratio between the volumes of the vaporized gas and the liquefied gas varies depending on composition, pressure, and temperature, but is typically around 250:1. The pressure at which LPG becomes liquid, called its vapour pressure, likewise varies depending on composition and temperature; for example, it is approximately 220 kilopascals (32 psi) for pure butane at 20 °C (68 °F), and approximately 2,200 kilopascals (320 psi) for pure propane at 55 °C (131 °F)."
It sounds like your Triumph needed a good tune up, possibly a convertor service and maybe the heater lines cleaned out.

As long as you take plenty of oil for the Mirage nothing is likely to stop.
Unless. . .
That's a BG GTX?

A set of plugs would be a good place to start, lpg likes a 28 tho plug gap.
As a fuel it's less forgiving than petrol so your ignition needs to be 10/10 for best results.

Can you block off the iac circuit and see if the idle drops?
Have the throttle cables got plenty of slack?

I've been a passenger in the one bart had, I had never experienced such a lack of mechanical sympathy in an automobile, I was amazed the gearbox didn't jump out the grille

I'd plug weld a nut onto those nubs and be about %60 confident they'd come out first time.

You need some heat in that flange (lol)
Weld a couple of nuts onto those studs, get the flange red hot and keep it red hot while you start working the studs out.
Edit.
Scratch that.
