Got my sunroof done at Auckland Auto Trimmers/Retro Vehicle Enhancement, cos the original was aftermarket and was no longer made. After not having an interior for over a year and then starting on the lush headliner, I decided I wanted an interior. A custom one. The floor pan is a bit crusty thanks to the old pos sunroof leaking everywhere, so Im halfway through grinding it back. For one days work dodging the rain I dont think its too bad..... worst bits attacked it with the grinder hit it with rust killer painted gray plastic black sprayed the carpet black, lost the pics. Oh well. Once Im done painting this will go in;

More shit been happening. Sorry no guard rollage/wheels/slam, but I was fucking sick of getting a wet ass everytime it rained. So, I coughed up big time...... Brand new sunroof, bigger than the old one and dosent leak (I hope not, almost paid a grand for the cunt). As you can see I have track spec interior (cos of the old siliconed up shitty sunroof leaking everywhere). Beige interiors are yuck esp when faded by the sun. Although I work on new school cars erry day and as much as they bore me I quite like their insides, so I decided to do mine up a bit. Not too hard if anyone else wants to give this a crack, its about $100, $40 on spray glue (2x cans), $60 for mint micro black suede about 6 meters I think, lucky me was on special that day. The black suede (need more for the door cards) got my filthy old headliner, sprayed it with adhesive and stuck the suede on. Imo these dont suit 2 tone. Whites alright, would be interesting to see what its like in good old matt b. Did my bodykit in cans, it came up alright bit orange peely but its allgood.

Under the car I have 1x stock muffler and 1x reso. With the bore its not loud at all and since a standard exhaust is going on (with 2 of these stylish long chrome tips) I am tempted to just ask for straight pipe to be put in once my factory middle muffler is out. Regret? Never. I just gave up at the first sign of a hurdle which turned out to be piss easy to overcome. Plus I had a vision with my car and the borbets all slammed out which wouldnt leave me/ would make me go insane if I didnt get them. I want/need to get my car lower to make this work. Saving up to do just that. Stock is 165 mm ride height, so I am looking for about a 40 - 55mm drop. Want it to be legit plus my road sucks with too many speedbumps. Good news - I got the Borbets! Thanks Mag and Tyre direct you guys are legends. Although they arent on the car yet they will be soon.

lol I wish I could. Pushing it just getting another set of rims.

The rims are stagged so a set = skinnier fronts wider rears. I can fit the fronts at 8 inches - they sit flush with the guard all good. But 9's on the rear stick out. The shop might split me a set meaning all 4 wheels are 16x8 and not stagged with 9"s on the back.

I can't get them machined as its the width that's the problem. Talked to the shop and they may be able to split a set for me. Monday is the day when I find out for sure if this can happen. (Hope it can). A guy in Aus had a Mazda GV wagon with a fe3 in it. Made crazy power something like 500 hp. Pretty sure its on tube. Think it was a white one. Id even be happy with MS, cams, ITB's and extractors.

Haven't completely given up on the idea of the (fake) Borbets. The problem lies with 9" width on the rear. Too wide. 8" on the front was pushing it (slightly sticking out, very close to the strut) Offset at +30 was okay. With 7" wide I can barely get a finger between the rear strut and the wheel. Pity I couldnt just get it slimmed down an inch or so. Or maybe I can? Finding out about that. I am keeping the 17"s. May not be everyones cup/glass of tea/bourbon but stuff it I do like them.

Tried on a set of these. Stagged 16x8" and 9" borbet copies, +30 offset. Front was okay but rear wouldnt work without spacers and/or guard mashing. If I could change it I'd go with "Stealthstar". The alternative was "Turdstar" but since the car is relatively straight and is all one color I cant really call it that.

Needs roof, both rear quarters and entire r/h side repainted (r/h door and guard have been hit - another day, another dickhead. U-turn+fail= into my car!) So all up about 2 grand - Im picky and want it MINT. Then tints. Dynamat. And then Im going to lose the racer spec fart cannon/drone box/big bore and get some dual tips. And finally some decent slam.
