Great read, it triggered a memory of my late father wearing a watch with an orange face, Mum didn't remember it until I showed her a google pic of what i recalled, caught up with her tonight and she had found it, turns out its a Seiko 6139-6002 from around '73, aka a Seiko Pogue, it seems to work except for the chronograph buttons.
Thanks for posting about your watch efforts, from that I now have something very personal that I can wear to remind me of the grumpy old bastard, while I would love to have the ability to open it up i might leave this one to the experts!

When using clear hose with water be aware that any light will allow bacteria to grow and possibly turn the clear hose a little green, easy option is to cover the hose with some dark tape, then if there is some growth you won't see it...

Yes I want them Naow.
What size do you need?, I have some that fit about a 30mm hole plus I might still have some that fit about a 10mm hole, did have some big ones but not sure if I can find them, they are ex factory early Mazda ones.
Edit, I read you wanted bungs, also have grommet, they are about 20mm od

yeah they sit under the steering knuckle, to set the preload on the kingpin bearings. Used on live axle front hilux's and the likes. They usually come with axle rebuild kit's. so no great value or anything
Thanks, in the scrap bin they go!

If I remember correctly when rally cars came in from overseas for the NZ Rally they had to be registered as a vehicle here with NZ plates so they could legally drive on the road?
