So i have made pretty good progress with this, the engine is running nicely, and the gears seem to work. Pics will follow I just would like to know, what sorta base settings should a little scooter carb have, its a mikuni something, can find out if it makes a difference? im pretty sure i messed them up when the engine wasnt running and its not getting the full potential from the engine.

if your keen on some 10mm slip ons then i have a pair i decided im not going to use

I read somewhere that your supposed to paint the whole side at least at the same time, as paint is 'translucent' (not really the right word, but you get the idea) and one coat wont cover up miss matched shades? seems logical to me and i'll be doing this with my car.

isnt that starting to get back into long run though? perhaps we could plan two runs, say a month or so apart, one short, one long, day trip bbq and such for the long run, somewhere like akaroa or at the kart track in kaikoura, and around the hill, carpark/pub meetup for the short one?

not keen to exclude people, so short run gets a vote from me

Anyone here work at a tire shop or something along those lines or know of a place that does it pretty cheap. i need 4 tires put onto rims and balanced for as cheap as i can, also need valves, but if need be i can supply some. thanks
