Looking at getting this thing tuned next pay, Have a few questions Who is a good place to go to in CHCH (have only heard of mates taking theres to RE Sinclair) What can i be expected to pay for a general tune up?? (running Nikki 4 barrel) What sort of km/L can i be expecting? (Was told it was running a J port but im pretty sure its a BP, im not expecting alot but a ball park would be good) Thanks in advance Nathan

So after taking it for a big spin last night i found it definitely has some big flat spots in the tyres from sitting so long.... Serious question, Will a nice little skid even them out or am i better to buy new ones? Bear in mind it had been siting for around 3 years on these tyres and they were dead flat when i went to look at it....

Picked up these tonight... Superlows that have been compressed some more for extra wagoneering goodness Will chuck them in once i fix the little things it needed for WOF Rims or standards and white walls.....hmm

Yea it was... Got it back all intact, bar a missing rego label...must have been some kids as school holidays had just started.. Wasn't holding my breathe to get it back but am very happy i did! Yea ive had like 5 of these during my time, love the shape and yea nice and cheap to get around town...

Thought i might as well make a project thread for my daily Trying as hard as i can to not make it a project but theres always things i want to do with it... The car started off very similar to the Rx7..i brought it off a mate who had lost interest in it and got it for a bargain..... Unfortunately i don't have any pictures of when i got it but imagine if you will a wagon covered in primer patches almost creating a type of camo paint job, running a engine that was as close as a K series engine will get to blowing a big end..... the weekend i brought it i panel and painted it.... unfortunately i ran out of paint and the drivers side ended up a bit on the thin side ..... I then set about finding the missing parts i needed including a replacement 3k engine...i found that you can no longer buy a 3k/4k for a box of beers, Toyota tax seemed to have gone up 10 fol.... i ended up scoring a nice little 3k out of a starlet from a member from Club-k whipped that in and it was away (timing chain could do with replacing but still a solid runner) Discuss

Busy weekend... Gave the engine fresh fluids, burnt the shit out of my hand on the exhaust, fixed the window wipers and fixed all the rust i could find..(sorry no pictures ) Decided i wanted to flush the old brake fluid for some new stuff but ran out of time, will do one night this week and re-book for WOF anyway here is a picture of the engine bay as someone said they would be interest.... Have tidied it up quite a bit since photo... but you get the general idea The lads at Pine engineering have some 13x7 0 offset SSR MK3s i'm looking at, but i am unsure on how they will look on the car.....couldn't find any pictures of a Series 1s with Mk3s or similar fitted...any body have pictures?

Will still be interested to find out what oil your using Window wipers stopped working this morning and with this cold raining weather i wasnt really comfortable driving it in with no heaters/wipers Might have to rebook for Monday unfortunately

So i read the whole "rotary piner thread", searched google and the forum, and im still not 100% sure on what oil i should be using?? Its in need of its first oil change, currently has unknown oil in it, but was told it was oil for running in... What would you rotary fiends recommend running?
