Mocked up an axle yesterday arvo Picked up BBQ from Jono she's a minter just had to clean it up my dog helped Made the axle at work after I finished today. Reason for stepping the axle up and across was to get as low as possible! anyone have a working car stereo they dont want? looking for something with aux inlet for ipods, ill rig up a small set up of speakers and a few batteries for some tunes

just got home from uni for the day, swung by steel merchants at lunch time and grabbed some steel luckily zebra car wreckers in next door cos i had swing in to grab another wheel because one of the orignal ones was fucked on closer inspection. mocking up the axle at the moment its looking pretty good, ill hopefully get a chance to weld up the axle at work tomorrow after hours bolt that in place tomorrow night and look at making the draw bar/frame maybe this weekend at home. pick up bbq tonight from jono so ill mock that up tonight and look at making a roller system so that it pulls out from the boot a bit cos i dont want the boot to fill with grease then its useless for anything else. all going well might be able to take for maiden voyage to drag day? i sure don't fuck spiders!

Thanks dudes! I'll get some steel later this week and look at making the chassis draw bar and axle. I actually picked up the hubs from BNT auto earlier so it will be rolling on new hubs. Also decided to make a ice fridge for it today. Hopefully make a stand for it to lock onto the draw bar or something for when parked up and sit infront on peps chillen. Made out of a stainless sink and I've plyed around it and I'll fill the back if it with expanding foam to help it from the sun. Plus does anyone have a BBQ for a good cause????

On my last week of uni for the year so finished a little early today so worked on this for a little bit. Decided to put some nice grained plywood into the mix to get a slight surfing look to it on the arm rests and to fill in the holes in boot along with old license plates. Threw some wheels underneath to try get a ride high sorted.in the photos that's sitting at 100 mm so I'm quite happy. Also 360 sand wet sanded the paint last night so get some patina colours showing

years ago i pined over 'filthy-one's build thread of a morris minor bbq trailer and i finally felt like it was time to give it a go! so i contacted Zebradude and he sorted me out a morris minor with nice interior which is ideal! went in on saturday and cut the fuck outta it with a saber saw (if any of u morry dicks wana know it was savable thats why i cut it up) took it home and started working on it. plans are bbq in the back with slding bbq to get it slightly out of the boot, seats in the front with detachable table infront of seats with some what of a chilly bin-ish thing included, single draw bar rather then A frame design also detachable so that i can make a few different draw bars to fit my cars tow bars. when i got it home from the wreckers i cut off all the excess shite that didnt need to be there. cleaned up all the rust with screw driver and wire brush then painted all the areas just to stop anything from worsening while its outside building it. want it super slammed on its own frame so the rust doesnt effect the warrents and that. pics to follow
